NikNaks are adorable creatures that evolved from the more primitive Bots that exist in Mainframe.

NikNaks are creatures that can be rescued and then added to factories as workers!

Rescuing NikNaks

NikNaks in the wild are corrupt and aggressive!

To rescue a NikNak, approach it with your vacuum pack in hand. Then suck until the NikNak enters your tube! Certain NikNaks are harder to suck and will struggle against you. Others will be easy to suck. In order to suck the NikNak in, the timer must tick down to 0, so you must maintain contact with NikNak or else the timer will reset.

Once the NikNak is successfully sucked, it’s added to a vacuum tube in your backpack! The action of vacuum them purifies the NikNak so that they are no longer corrupt and aggressive. Also, NikNaks won’t contribute to your factories until they've been purified.

Purification

Once contained, NikNaks can be placed onto a Purifier Machine, which cleanses them of their corruption. After purification, NikNaks are grateful for your help. Now loyal, they’re ready to be placed into your factory system.

Each NikNak has unique traits and skillsets. When assigning one to a factory, you:

Select the resource region it collects from (draw it like a paintbrush!)
Select a Resource Box as its drop-off location.

When you rescue a NikNak, they have different personalities that affect how they might behave in your factory!
