Welcome to the official NikNak Wiki!
NikNak is a 3D voxel, factory sandbox game. It takes place in a setting called the Mainframe.
All about Modding!
In NikNak, the whole game is about Modding.
You can make Blueprints of groups of Chiseled Voxels, so that you can create 3D Meshes. Then build up your own Tech Tree using blueprints from your Blueprint Catalogue that can reference each other.
Finally, build Factories with creatures called NikNaks to engineer your blueprints.
The World of the Mainframe
The Mainframe Universe is made up of Cube Planets that together make up a Galaxy. The cube planets have special physics that make it interesting to tinker with.
Once you are a more advanced veteran of the Mainframe, you might build Vehicles to traverse cube planets.
Who are you?
You and your friends move around the Mainframe as Avatars, and your Avatar interacts with Mainframe's digital world for you!
The Mainframe developed into a sprawling place of chaos... but you are here to tame it...
